The Gated Wedding Couple

Everything I made with Spellbinder and Papertrey Ink dies and my Cricut cartidges Celebrate with Flourish and Ornamental Iron. I purchased the black beaded lace and cut it apart to spread it around the card and tag. My favorite paper is from My Minds Eye "Lost and Found.  I sprayed a few parts with shimmer mist and I used distress inks on the Lili of the Valley wedding couple. The flower on the front just lays over the heart enough to keep the card closed. The gates on the front were fun to pry off the Cricut, but so worth it. Out of all my cards, I think I love this one the most, at least for today.

Thanks for visiting,
Kelly

Romantic Tilda With Big Ribbon

My brain is fried, alot of detail on this card along with alot of interruptions. I just love to challenge myself though and I love the extra time I have had this week to create until I am sick of it. That will never happen!

I chose DP Webster Pages "lullabye lane" for the outside and inside right. The inside left is 7 Gypsies "Flora"
the reason why I needed 2 different papers is I was experimenting with Cricut and ruined part of Webster and then I never sew, my machine doesn't like me, so anyway I ruined another piece and so there was not enough to do up the inside with the same papers. I try hard to match.

Tilda is done with Copics and I used BG10,15, N3 for her dress. Y21, E31, 53 for her hair and Eoo, YR00, R20 for her skin. She is sitting on lace from Joann's.  Other things I used were the Stampiup Embosslits 'beautiful wings' die, pearls, rivits, alot of Prima flowers. I distressed the edges of the card with Soft Suede ink from Stampin Up. I mounted it on Spring Moss from Papertrey Ink and then Soft Suede paper from Stampin Up.

I really love the new stamps from "You Are So Special"
Have a great day.

Tilda With Many Hearts

I know I went a little CRAZY with the Martha Stewart Heart Punch.  This Tilda is so darn cute I really enjoyed coloring her. I used Copics E00, YR00, R20 for her face, E53, 31, 35, 33 for her hair, R29, 35, 59 on the hearts and RV000, 04, 21, N3 on her dress.
The cute red and pearl  flowers are from making memories, Vintage Findings. I have enough for another card and I do not know why I didn't buy more because they are easy to fit into a card and they are pretty.
My DP is from Bo Bunny "Crazy Love Kisses", I love the name of it. I have alot of this paper and I used it to punch the hearts with, both sides show. The sentiments are from Stampin Up.

I have one more Tilda from my newest arrivals to try out.  Have a happy Day.

Tilda With Heart Lace

This paper is GRAPHIC 45 Playtime Past. and I inked around Tilda to match the background of the paper.
I used the opposite side of the paper to accent her with the scallop circle.  Then I put a red doily heart behind her and added red ribbon to the bottom. The sentiment is from Stampin Up and I used their scallop square punch to accent the sentiment. To be cute I used a red clothespin on the corner.

The inside I used my cricut to make the emblem on the right and then I had to see what Tim Holtz's stamps would do together on the left. I like the messy vintage feel on it, in person you can actually read what it says.
I am still working on my coloring and this one is a bit of a challenge for me. I used Copic R29, 59. 35 for the hearts. Boo, 02, 05, C3 on her dress. E33, 35, 37 for her hair and skin is E00,YR00, R20.

Thank you for looking today.

Storage for My Copics and Distress Inks

The containers I am showing you are from Joanne Fabric Stores. I purchased them about 4 months ago and they stack on top of each other. All of the Distress Inks I have and the cups for mixing are in 2 containers and then my Copics are all in the one container.  I do not own a ton of Copics but I do have room on my shelf for one more of the containers IF I should want to own a ton of Copics??hmm.

Happy Anniversary Folding Card

The inside of the card fully open with some writing space on the bottom

Here the card is folded shut and tied with ribbon. It is like a envelope.

I used BasicGrey DP 'Olivia" and it looks good just sitting on my doilie. My M-I-L makes beautiful cross stitched doilies and table runners. I have them displayed all over in my craft room because they are so pretty.
I used Copics to color my Lili of the Valley stamp. Depending on the colors I choose some of the blending is getting better. Just a bit.  I tried out one of my new Spellbinders dies to put on the front close of the card. I used a old sentiment and ribbon I have had for a while now.
Wonderful warm wishes to you all.

Simply Magnolia's Brother and Sister

These two adorable siblings are colored with Distress Inks. Edwin is in Pine Needles, Dried Marigold and Walnut Stain. Tilda is wearing Worn Lipstick and Barn Door with Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo. Thei skin is Tea Dye with a touch of Worn Lipstick on the cheeks.

I used My Minds Eye 'Alphabet Soup' DP and the ribbon is from our local Michaels craft store. I used Verve sentiment  with dies from Spellbinders and Papertrey Ink.

This card was easy and fast to make but the paper makes it fun.

Who Do You Want To Be

Isn't she sweet looking in the mirror wondering, Who Can I Be?
We all love to play dress up or just renew ourselves
Tim Holtz's stamp describes some of our thoughts here.
I used Lili of the Valley stamp image and watercolored her with Distress Inks. I distressed the edge and used Stampinup Soft Suede to ink the edges.  I also distressed the peach DP Making Memories with Stampinup River Rock around all 4 edges. I also used the magnolia die for the lace with Basic Grey paper. The butterflies are embossed and cut with Stampinup embosslits Beautiful Wings.  My pretty flowers are from Making memories falling 4 you.
Thank you for your kind comments, I really appreciate them.

Love Paper

The inside of the card is all I have left of a 12x12 DP because I am learning how the Cricut is cutting.
This I Love You overlay is what took me time and alot of paper to accomplish. Yep I am a newbie to this machine. I used the Paper Lace Cartridge, 40% off at Joannes!
My DP is Love, Many Splendored from American Crafts. I colored the Lili of the Valley Stamp with Copics and forgot to leave them out, sorry about that.
Love, Love, Love your comments, thanks

Deals on Crafting Supplies

Talk about deals yesterday, Zeta, my daughter and I traveled to Mpls area and Joanne Fabrics had 40% off spellbinders and cricut cartridges.  then Micheals had cricut cartridges for $9.99. Unbelievable. All of our money is now gone.  If you are interested in any of those, go check these stores out or go online, they usually run the same sales all over.

I had to reorganize my craft room to make room for everything I purchased, sorry hubby, while your gone the girls are playing. Hehe. He knows I am teasing, he is generous with my addiction. Luv ya.

Yellow and Grey Tilda

I used Clothesline from Little Yellow Bicycle DP and colored Tilda with copics in the above jar. I used my spellbinder dies for the shapes and Papertrey Ink sentiments from 2 of their stamp sets.  I love the satin grey ribbon from Stampin up and I am almost out. My Prima flowers sit just perfect in the ribbon.
Thank you for peaking around my blog, I think after church tomarrow us girls are going shopping for more craft stuff, Zeta has money burning a hole in her pocket.
Good evening friends.

Basic card from Scraps

I saw the scraps in my basket and made a simple card using my Papertrey Ink dies and their felt. My M-I_L
enjoys simple cards to send to her freinds so I was thinking of her when I made this one.

My Hubby is Out of Town Card

I love this paper from Echo Park "Be Mine'. It is really fun to use. I have Tilda sitting on a mason jar.  The die cut and stamp is from Papertrey Ink and it is Friendship Jar. I put Vellum over the paper jar to add the glass look.  The other dies are from Papertrey Ink also. I used a blingy ribbon I got from Joanne Fabrics and as you can see above, those are the accesories I used.

My husband is away for 1 week and I do not have to cook the 5 course meals while he is gone. Yeah. So I figure why not order out and let the teenagers pick up the food and then I can use my time to CREATE.
I am so excited to have all this freedom,,OH Wait! I have a 2 year old, yep a little kink in my plan.  He is so sweet and his older siblings are helpful.  I will be uploading everything I am doing as the week goes so check in with me often.

My daughter's friend Zeta, is bringing her Cricut over to help me embellish better, boy I hope I do not get addicted to that or I will be spending more money. I cannot hide anything that big so maybe I will just borrow, or not??  I can hardly wait to make the next card.
Thanks for stopping by.
