Melissa Frances meets Seeding Tilda

I just love the Melissa Frances papers, tissue garland, pearls and  other things, they are so pretty!! I put Webster Pages dotted netting over the paper for a soft romantic look, even though she is not romantic at this moment. Then I put the pearls, felt rolled flower and felt hand that I created over that.

I used the Melissa Frances tissue garland and coiled it to make this puffy flower. So simple. I used glue dots to adhere it at the end as well to the netting.

Here is a closer look of the felt rolled flower I made with Die-namics rose die.  The saying is from a older Stampinup stamp set.  You can kinda see the dots on the netting too.

You can see the pretty satin gathered ribbon and then I used Papertrey Inks die for the edges. Inside the card is layered with Melissa Frances paper and some blue lace. I used Melissa Frances tag and Papertrey Ink tags that I made.

Isn't the baby so sweet on this paper, I just had to make this image known, her papers are so pretty and show  the innocence of what life was.

I hope you enjoyed this card, it is one of my favorites.
Thank you for you kind and constructive comments, I appreciate them all.

My Pink Cell Phone

This card is for the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog

I love Pink and I love the telephone, my husband says that  I am always on it while his supper is burning.
I think he can include the blogs with that now too.  For this challenge I made a pink cell phone with Tilda in the caller ID screen.  She is calling her friend.
I used the top part of the Easel card for the cell phone shape and then made quilt blocks for the dial pad, the pearls represent the numbers. All girlie like a phone should be since it is glued to my ear as my husband would say.
To hold the easel layer I put Prima flowers to curve slightly like a phone would be.
The antenna for excellent service is another Prima flower.

I know, a bit corny but I thought why not have some humour.
Have a great week.

A Few More Baby Cards

Seeding Tilda

I am inking up my new Maggies and the first one is Seeding Tilda at Magnolialicious Store.
I couldn't sleep last night so I colored and I just love her face and hair, she is pretty and interesting to color for someone simple like me.
I used Copics Eoo, YR00, R20 on the skin
YG91, 93 for the apron and boots
R01,02,05 for her dress
G94, 99 on the sack
E31, 35, 37 for her hair and seeds
Here is the Prima flower and the fence Doohickey from Magnolia.  You can see some of the netting I used  from Websters Pages, it wraps a bit around the flower and surrounds the image.  Also below is a butterfly from Pink Paislee and PaperTrey Inks Tiny Tags I made. I sponged  Stampinups True Thyme, River Rock and Groovy Guava on them as well as the fence. My cardstock is Stampinups River Rock.

The cute little flowers in the netting are from Websters pages, they are called Whimsies Mini Petals.  I also used Pink Paislee DP called Gypsie Chick.

Thank you for looking at my new Maggie card. Of course I colored alot of her so more will be coming.

More Babies

I know what you are thinking, why are you doing the same thing over and over??  I only have one Magnolia Baby type stamp and I love it.  Also, someone has asked for 6 baby cards and I am giving her a variety to choose from.  I also will be making some from a Papertrey Ink stamp set and Stampinup stamp set.

This card was off a idea my sister-in-law had. We just received our Close to My Heart stamp order from Rosemary Bridges and we ordered a doily stamp set called Simple Memories D1472. I stamped the doily with Stampinup Craft Very Vanilla Ink on Vellum and then embossed it.  Sooo Very Pretty.  You should contact Rosemary to get this set.  Thanks to Janet's idea little baby Tilda is cuddling on a crocheted looking blanket.
The other stamp for the inside of the card is from My Minds Eye Lost and Found Collection, yes I have all the papers too. Addiscted!  I cut out a doily from my DP with the die from Papertrey Ink and made the sentiment.  My DP is Pebbles Ever After.  The embellishment in the left bottom corner is from the idea in the new Summer Magnolia book, using the Doohickey lacy flower die and another from stampinup that is retired., I created my own version of the rose bud.
A Neutral Baby Card is hard because I just want to girlie it up but I tried to restrain myself.  I rolled a lace ribbon in the upper left corner, I have been seeing these around and figured why not try it out. I have a couple of Prima flowers with it and die cut butterfly from Papertrey Ink and their felt.  The lace is from local store and the baby is from Papertrey Ink Bitty  Baby Buttons stamp set.
Baby is on a tag and then on the inside I included another Doohickey tag with a sentiment from Stampinup. My DP is  Making Memories Dilly Dally.

Thank you for stopping by.  I appreciate it very much.

Sweet Baby Girl

This card is so simple to make but took the longest because of all the interuptions.  I think it is adorable and clean looking but this one could be used as a tag on a gift also.

I used Magnolia Doohickey flowers and put tiny felt  flowers  on it as well as the bear. I just used the Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies to create the card.  I also used scrap paper I had and a chipboard die cut I just found.  I think I should clean out my left over box because I keep finding things I could have used on something. But who wants to clean?

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Sunny and Cheery blessings to you all.

Cutie Patootie Easel Card

I am making BABY cards today and I only have one baby to use so I will show you the boy card I finished

I used two different light sources for the photo taking to see how the colors vary.  The above photo is in the window light and the bottom one is not in anything but the room I am in with a white cloth behind it.

 I used copics B21, 32, 41 and E00, R20, YR00
The bear and sentiments are from a stamp set made by Papertrey Ink. The bow I made and put the star from the matching paper series on top.  My DP is New Arrival from Pebbles.

Ok One more card I made but its just ok.
I just have to have a girl on the blog, no boys allowed!  LOL
