Tilda With Rose Basket

Happy Weekend, I hope you are relaxing and enjoying the weather.  I love how hot it is here during the day and then by 5pm it cools off and feels crisp and fresh. We had sunshine all day!

My latest card is Tilda with Rose Basket from the Pink Lemonade collection.  Last week there were too many sales and I just could not take it any longer and purchased a few of these lovely Tilda's!  It took me the entire day to make this 1 card, I was outside enjoying the sun in my face dreaming of the Ocean beach! lol

Tilda is colored in Distressed Inks and I used Stampendous Shabby White Embossing powder around her.  I love how the glitter added to her basket like the flowers were falling out of it.

Behind the card I put a green envelope and made the sentiment to go inside. I wanted to show more of the paper Annabelle's Garden because Tilda blended perfectly with it and the scene was so perfect for her.   Sometimes I just color and then wonder what to do with my image, lucky for me she went perfect with this paper.

Prima resin butterflies and die cuts are used in the florals.

I used a chipboard sentiment piece, sprayed it with Prima bloom lavender, and then swiped some white paint on it.

Here she is so girly and springy, great for a sunny day!

The inside I used the same papers, you hardly have to do anything with them as they are so beautiful on their own.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, you are all so sweet to me and I enjoy your opinions!  Have a blessed rest of your weekend!

Ppinky Dolls Miracle and Lilith

Hello my friends!

This week was a busy one, I had to shop in our new city. Brutal! LOL  I love to shop and explore so every day I went out into Rapid City and found new shops, winter items for the kids before they are sold out, and a few shops that will take my artwork on consignment!  What fun and I did not even reach 1/4 of the downtown area yet, so many places that I never knew were there!

So crafting took a back seat and last night I finished up my two envelope cards using Ppinky Dolls with Distressed Inks and Derwent Inktense pencils.

Lilith

Using Pion papers, "My Precious Daughter" and a envelope I have had for many years, I created 2 cards.  Lilith is colored with Inktense pencils and then Distressed Ink and Inktense pencils for the background.  The front of the card is mounted onto the envelope.

Turn it over and you can see the back of the envelope and the inside sentiment card I created to go with.  The envelope is small 4x7 and has twist around tie on the back.

 Here is Miracle

She was also colored with Inktense pencils and I used a Gelly Roll pen for her hair.  I made a pocket on the left side for another pull out piece you can use for a message on the front.  The back shows the same 4x7 envelope and a doily glued onto it.  The inside sentiment card is on the bottom right.

Wishing you a very happy weekend!!  I hope to relax and craft, yeah!
To my friend Karen, Safe travels this weekend and we are looking forward to some photos! lol

Swan Girl by PPinky Doll

Hello friends and visitors, hope your day is going well.
Our first snow set a record in the Black Hills, thankfully I am in the foothills and only had a inch to deal with, while the mountains received 7 inches.  Our snow is melted and the warm up begins already tomorrow, crazy weather here. Better than MN, SD snow does not stay! lol

I found these really cute images on Facebook and the owner is giving away this image called Swan Girl in honor of her birthday.  I love the look they have and I found them fun to color and create with.  More of Chrishanthi's images are on her Etsy Shop here.

I colored her in Distressed Inks and Frantaged Shabby White around her.

My papers are from Reprint, I love their papers, gorgeous.  The large butterfly die is from Magnolia as well as the lacy border around the card.

I tucked in a piece of lace into the florals and there are decorative pins behind it.  The bottom has a Prima resin fairy sitting on the rolled ribbon flower.

Here she is up close, some of the shading is already there from the image. You can lighten it when you print it if you wish.

The inside of my card is a Little Darlings die and the LaLa Land butterfly die.  I used the squares from the die to put my letters on and spelled out Thankful.

Here is a side view of my card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I hope you go check out the PPinky Dolls on Etsy or join their group on FB.  I love seeing what everyone is doing with them.

Autumn Flower

Hello my friends and welcome to new visitors!

In my State it goes from 94 degrees to 40 degrees in 2 days.  From hot summer air to cold wet and rain showers!  The weather here is unpredictable and the cold weather is here early.  They say we will be back into the 80's next week, yeah!

I found a older Tilda stamp with a sunflower and made a easel card with her.  I miss my sunflowers that would pop up in the garden, they are so beautiful this time of the year.

Looking down at the card it is open and the bottom of the easel card has apples and flowers holding it up.  I used Maja Papers Walking in the Forest, in the back is a envelope I cut out and folded.  There is a special message inside.

I colored her in Copics

I have some Magnolia Doohickeys on my card with Petaloo flowers.

Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate your supportive comments.
Have a wonderful day,
Kelly
