The Wedding Card

I love the Wedding Couple from Lili of the Valley.  I need to make a few wedding cards for the next few months so here is one that I made into a criss cross card but the image can be used as a keep sake if they want to.

I used Distress Inks and then sprayed them with Tattered Angels Gold Shimmer Mist.  They are cut out and then using dimensionals they appear to be walking on a carpet of lace.

This is closed and tied on the right side.  You can pull the main card out of the top or wait until it is opened to get it out.

The main card has a spot on it to write the Wedding Date, for a keepsake, and the on the back you can write a note for the special couple on their wedding.

The photos give you a better look at the paper, I cannot tell you the name of the DP as my hubby emptied the garbage before I discovered my mistake of not writing this information down.

Here is the set with the outer card and the inside main piece.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, I truly appreciate it.

Cheery Red Tilda

I just cannot stop making Christmas Cards, the new Christmas Tilda's this year are sooo cute.

I chose to make a ornament style from my Cricut so I can use it next year to decorate with.

I think it is the various flowers that make this card shine, they are from Prima, Wild Orchid, Magnolia and Melissa Frances. I added a hint of netting to them and a little more sparkle to some.

She is colored in Distressed Inks and then I used liquid pearl to make it appear like it is snowing.

The inside shows more of the DP paper from Mme "I believe". I used their bird from the paper and also the holly heart from Magnolia to accent the spaces for writing.

Thank you for your sweet comments, they are very appreciated. I hope you get to relax and create this New Year's.  May you keep safe and healthy for 2012.
Happy New Year to you.

Happy New Year Challenge #30

I was so excited to see the challenge today as I feel it is a "Happy New Year"
I thought happy, sparkly and elegant for my card to enter in this Challenge.

For Challenge #30 you need to have the Text "Happy New Year" on the card.

My favorite paper MME has coordinating stamps so I used the Happy and the chandelier stamps.  I also used the Papertrey Ink tiny tags2 for the Happy New Year Tags that are adorned with twine and a heart pin from Websters Pages.

Here is Magnolia Doohickey dies topped off with a Key hole from Melissa Frances.

My Tilda is colored in Distressed Ink and liquid pearls surround her, she has snow on her trimmings.

The inside is decorated with the MME papers and Magnolia doohickey dies. Spellbinders were used for the sentiment  areas.

A closer look on the inside so you can see the embellished doohickey flowers on both sides.

Thanks for stopping by to view my Happy New Year's card.  I am wishing you all a Happy and Healthy New Year for 2012!

2 Christmas Cards To Go

This year I am a bit behind in sending out Christmas cards.  Here are my last two.
She is colored in Distressed Ink. I used Memory Box dies in the corners, purchased from Diana's store recently, I love the new dies.  My sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley.   I used Fancy Pants Design "Winterland" papers.

On the inside I used a Magnolia doohickey die and a Close To My Heart sentiment.

Card number 2
I used the same paper pack from Fancy Pants Design "Winterland" and the same sentiment but added a poinsettia die from Papertrey Ink.  The doily behind Tilda is Spellbinders.
To Jazz it up a bit I put some stickle around Tilda and on the sentiment. The inside speaks for itself with the lovely papers from Fancy Pants.

I hope you enjoyed my cards. I wish I could make these all day long but in reality my family is what matters.  May you all have a Blessed Christmas.

Going Star Crazy for Magnolia-licious

I am star crazy with this huge card that you can hand on a Christmas tree also.  It seems that the more I added to it the bigger it got.  I do like pretty things but I am afraid this one is a bit cluttered for my taste.
I am entering a Contest posted here at magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.
I hope I win the awesome gift for the most stars!!
I tried to stay neutral with Tilda as the rest of the card is so busy.

I put a ribbon on it to hang it on a tree,, I figured it is a nice keepsake for someone I know that will appreciate it.  It is fun to make cards to function as a small gift too.
A previous card I made, in my kitchen cupboard with all the Christmas dishes. She is part of the decorating.
Thank you for taking at my star and have a wonderful weekend.

Baby Boy Tilda

My daughter-in-law is going to a baby shower tomorrow and asked me to make her a card, of course I very happily said yes.  This is what I came up with.
I used Little Yellow Bicycle 6x6 papers  for the theme of the card. I colored Baby Tilda with copies and put a little gauze under her.
The inside of the card I used the Dinosaurs from the Little Bicycle line that I purchased to use for scrapbooking, oh well. and my Cricut Cartridge Art Philospohy by Close to My Heart.

 A space for writing
My daughter-in-law has been with us for 6 months now while my son has been in Japan because of deployment.  She is leaving on Wednesday to go back to NC as my son is returning home.  She is very thrilled and I do not blame her but as we both discussed, we will greatly miss each other. She is another daughter that I have grown to love.
