Tilda with her flower Thank You Card

This card is on Honour of my newly born Granddaughter Lyla Jean

The Happy Family
Doesn't she look good  1 1/2 hours after a c-section!

My son with his little girl

The card I made

I used my brand new stash of Stampinup DP and Fabric "Beau Chateau" with stamp sets "Pennant Parade and Kindness Matters"  I love the new caddy in their 2011-2012 book.

Here are the pennants I made and a rolled flower from the fabric.  I also included Wild Orchid flowers and pearls for accents.

The pearl pick is from Micheals and a Prima flower.

Thank you for your Kind Comments and Have a beautiful day

Tilda in her Rubber Boots Thank You

This card is to thank someone for their generosity in helping me out, we have never met.  I wanted to make a beautiful card for her kindness.

I colored Tilda with Distressed Inks Tattered Rose and Broken China. Her skin is tea dye and worn lipstick. For the background I used a embossing folder and sprayed Chalkboard ink from Tattered Angels on it.  Then I put my paper into the embossing folder  and put it through the Vegabond and let it dry.
For this technique I used a you tube video from Blue Moon Scrapbooking.

My flowers are from Wild Orchid and Prima.  The ribbon is from Tim Holtz and it holds my easel card open.

Here are some close ups of the mesh I put behind Tilda and the Tag I made using the Chalkboard paint.  The embellishment on the Doohickey tag is from Papertrey Ink and The Girls Paperie.

Here is a close up of the Chalkboard ink on the embossing folder.  I used Peacock on the top and Apricot on the bottom half of the folder.  You can find them both at Blue Moon Scapbooking.

My favorite colors and pink I always seem to pick them first to make a card with.

I hope you have a blessed weekend.

No Boys On The Blog

Here are a few BOY Birthday Cards I made for my Mother-in-laws gift.  My camera is not working well so they are a bit blurry  All the images are from Lili of the Valley and they came precolored so I just take one from the stack and make a card, makes a rush job easier if needed.

The DP is Bo Bunny, "Time Piece Collection" in the 6x6 pad

Th DP is from My Minds Eye "Stella and Rose" 6x6 pad

The DP paper is from Pink Paislie "Honeycomb, Queen Bee Collection"

The DP is Bo Bunny "Barefoot and Bliss Collection" in 6x6 pad

May God Bless you life today, Kelly

Strawberry Tilda

I used Fancy Pants Wishful Thinking and Creative Imaginations Iron Orchid Designs designer papers along with Stampinup Cherry Cobbler.
The frame around Tilda and the sentiment is Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares.
I used a Martha Stewart Punch to create the flowers and put a brad in the middle. The feather is from our own Chickens.  Yes I plucked a few white feathers and washed them and now they are part of my card.  I also have ducks and I found some pretty colorful ones in the grass one day, I guess they were having a squabble so there were a few to pick from.  They wash out very nice and they are free.

I did use a Tim Holtz die for the butterfly and then I had the bow from a package my Aunt sent me. I put them on the Spellbinders Fleur De Lis smaller squares for fun.
Now the whole purpose of the card was my husband grows a huge garden and this year the Strawberries are fantastic and bountiful.  He is proud of them and wanted them on my blog.  I think he gets a little jealous of the attention of my cards and not him??  He is really a great husband so he deserves attention and my love.

MMMMM they are really good!! thanks Tom
