My adorable image is Uptown Girl Catherine Nibbling Chocolate. That is what every girl wants for Valentines Day, chocolate along with bling, dinner, adoration and pampering! Oh Yes!!

I colored her in Copics and added Aged Ivory Frantage around her.

A closeup of the cut a parts from the paper pad Graphic 45 "Place In Time" I love this paper pad for embellishing my cards.  I also used Shari Baldy's heart die too.

On the base is a cute card from the Graphic 45 paper along with Tim Holz Muse Tokens, pearls and ribbon from my stash.  Along the edges I used a Magnolia Doohickey lace border die.

Here is the side view of the easel card.

Here is the twisted easel card laying flat

You can never get too much girly frill for Valentines!

Let's HOP!!!

Waterlily Tilda For 7 Kids College Fund

Happy Saturday to you!!
I am still working on my accounting for our company and in 3 weeks all the adults kids will be departing to their own places.  Did you hear a squeal?  Sshhh don't tell the kids!  I am managing to keep up with my DT work for now and things are about to improve shortly!!  I have so many ideas in my head that need to come out in some artistic form.  I feel like I am in crafting withdrawl! lol

Here is a card I made for 7 Kids College Fund Store using Waterlily Tilda by Magnolia.

She is colored in distressed Inks.  I used a Joy die 6002/0304 to frame her and then added a string of pearls with Glossy Accents.  My papers are from Kaisercraft "Violet Crush"

Here is a wooden frame from the Prima Optimist collection that I Frantaged with Shabby White embossing enamel. I used Little Darlings "use your words" letter stamps to spell out MOM and glued them onto the lace with Glossy Accents.

I put in a pocket envelope on the side for a message and embellished it with Doodlebug pearls.  This side of the card is embellished with Memory box "Whimsical Flourish" and "Vivienne Butterflies" along with Joy "Butterfly Edge" die and a floral arrangement.

Here is a close up of the Vivienne Butterfly die cut from Memory Box, I really love this one and I used the Kaisercraft papers for it.

Here is the tag I made using a part of the paper pad from Kaisercraft.  I embellished it with Doodlebug pearls and seam binding ribbon.

The inside is all from the Kaisercraft paper pad and 2 butterflies from the Memory box die Vivienne Butterfly.

Here is a different view

Relax And Let It Flow Out

Today I just wanted to share a card that I made while relaxing in between moments of chaos. lol  I had this card laying on my desk this morning and my daughter came in and asked "can this be framed"?  I figured she wanted it for her new apartment that she will be moving into in 1 week, (that means 2 less adults in my house).  I was very pleased that she wanted my artwork on her walls since she is a adult and her taste is different than mine!  I will get a shadow box for it and use Maja papers for the background and then bring it over AFTER she is done unloading her boxes!

I used Maja "Vintage Summer Basics for my papers and the post card.  I love this set so much.  I wanted to create something that I did not have to think or perform, you know just let it happen.  I used a card from Pion design of a vintage lady and then let my mind flow.

My flowers, feathers and beads are on top of the Magnolia Peony die.

Here is a closer look of one of the post cards in the back of this paper pack, I made everything with distressed edges, sometimes a bit too much.

Here is the Pion image I used and some gorgeous lace, makes a easy card if the image is already done.

I was given 2 of these sweet Cherubs by a friend and my daughter asked if my last one could go onto her card base. I let her have it because I will see it again. This is therapy for my hoarding problem, letting crafty items go. lol

I had just purchased the Prima chipboard and I loved this You & Me word so I Frantaged it with Shabby Pink and let it heat up and melt longer than usual.  I watched the Frantage move around the chipboard until I was happy with it, it looks lined.

Thank you for stopping by my blog as your comments make me smile.  Stay warm and healthy!!

All Dressed Up Blog Hop

Our first All Dressed Up challenge & release of 2014 is here...and what a fantastic release it is.

Both our teams have joined together for this Challenge/Release, and we are also having a blog hop !

We have four newly released images this month, all of which can be found over on the store
Our theme for the the challenge is "Anything Goes". A nice and easy theme to start the new year with.
Here is the image I chose to use for the blog hop.

I made a 8x8 canvas with it

First I colored my image from the store in Copics and then glued it to the canvas. The sun rays and mountains of snow I made by mixing Golden moulding paste with paint.  The sun rays is a stencil from Tim Holtz called "Rays".

This canvas was very simple to create and fun too.

The challenge will run until February 15th and the winner will receive 3 images of their choice from the store
Please make sure you stop by the blog to check out the rest of the talented Dressy Girls creations.

Now as I said earlier we are also having a blog hop for this challenge, two lucky winners will receive 2 images of their choice from the store, in order to be in with a chance of winning you have to visit every blog on the hop list and leave a comment by the date shown below. Two winners will be picked at Random by two of the Dressy Girls on Wednesday 22nd January . We know we have quite a few Dressy girls, so we have spread the hop over a week to give you all plenty of time to hop along.

If you have been following the hop list you have arrived here from Jennifer
Here is the hopping list so you don't get lost along the way.
Good luck on the hop and make sure you check out the blog for the winners & all the challenge details.

Windy Day Saturated Canary

Hello and welcome to my blog!!  I hope you have time for 2 posts today!!

I have to apologize for not keeping up with you on your blogs or Facebook!  My adult kids are still here and 2 more adults moved in for the month until their apartment is ready so it is really chaotic here at my home.  I was stressing a bit with all the constant noise and demands so my husband finally took some time off this past weekend and we left for a quiet easy trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota.  We have not been alone for a few years and we really needed it. The long weekend was so wonderful that I teared up when we left for home. lol  Back to reality and I am struggling to catch up so please know that I think about you but may not be in touch like I should be right now!

Let's get on with a new challenge at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog!   I would love it if you could come back later and to see my creation for the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog Hop

Here is my 7 Kids College Fund DT card that I am sharing with you today.

"Windy Day" by Saturated Canary is colored in Copics with a bit of stickles added to her.  I used Pion papers and distressed the edges and then inked the edges.

The hearts are a die cut from Memory Box called Twirled Heart.  When I first cut my hearts I saw the middle hearts stacked up on my cutting plate and thought what a great look for a future card too. So I think you get more uses out of this die cut.

My friend gave me this handmade angel which I adore and she looks fabulous on the tag I made.  Because I am selfish I am keeping the tag with the angel when this card is mailed out. lol  The tag/envelope is from Melissa Frances and I chose a green envelope and then distressed around the edges of the tag. On the envelope is another Twisted Hearts die.  My flowers are from WOC and Kort and Godt.  I cut a small piece of Maja paper with the LaLa Land heart banner to adorn the bottom of the florals.

Here is what the tag looks like when it is pulled out of the green envelope.

Here is the inside, all I needed was the paper from Pion, so divine!

Thank you for visiting me today!

I hope you pop over to our challenge blog and enter to win the grand prize gift certificate from 7 Kids College Fund Store!  It is very easy to enter, just use something available from the 7 Kids College Fund Store and the theme is Anything Goes at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.
Good Luck in winning!!

Wyanet from Whimsy Stamps

Welcome to my blog today!  Winter is in full gear and the kids love to snowmobile and pull their sleds, we go through several a season.  MN is one of the coldest States in the USA and we started the cold early this year so I am hoping for a early Spring!!

Today I have a tag to share with you using Wyanet (Beautiful) from Whimsy Stamps.  She is colored in Copics and I added some extra doodles.

I used TH On The EdgeTree Line die to make the trees along the bottom and then I added a dark gray ribbon rose strip.
The back of Wyanet is a Magnolia doily doohickey.

I used a Prima wood feather and Frantaged it with Aged Aqua, Shabby White, and Aged Copper which blended it to her feathers.  A charm I received from a friend accompanies it.

Inside sentiment are stickers that I doodled around. The background is ink and a dab of glitter.

So the big surprise is how you get to the sentiment!  You flip her up and there it is underneath my image. Last year I received a card from a friend that flips like this too, I still have it in my craft room to admire.

Thank you for support and the comments you leave me!

Currently at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog we are having a challenge ANYTHING GOES!! By entering with a product from the 7 Kids College Fund Store you have a chance to win the gift certificate offered at the 7 Kids College Fund Store.

I hope you enter our challenge at 7 Kids college Fund Challenge Blog, I love to see my friends there!

Uptown Girl Reilly Loves to Relax

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S
Sending Love, good health and prosperity to all my blogging friends!

We have a new challenge to start the NewYear at 7 Kids College Fund Blog

Anything Goes
but the Design Team is doing
White on White

Here is my card for the challenge

My image is Uptown Girl Reilly Loves to Relax and she is colored in Copic Sketch Markers on Neenah Paper.  I sprinkled Shabby White Frantage by Stampendous around her and embossed it.
My main card die are Go Kreate Frilly #2.

I had a shoe charm and could not resist using it on this card.

The top are numerous dies from Marianne, Anja's corner, Petra's Heart and Tiny s Swirl.  Then I used Tim Holtz tattered banners and stamped a sentiment from Paper trey Ink on it. Dotted a few liquid pearls.

The bottom dies are Memory Box die Elegant scrollwork and the Branch Flower 2 from Marianne.

I stamped and cut another piece of the chair, ran it through a embossing folder to create a pattern, and then raised it a bit for dimension.  Looks poofy

I hope you enjoyed my white on white card for the first challenge of the year 2014!
Please enter your creation at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog because I love seeing my friends there. You will have a chance to win a gift certificate to 7 Kids College Fund Store.

Hope you have a awesome New Year!
