Tilda with Her Flower Pot Thank You Card

I have a Aunt Dee who lives in Nevada that loves making cards too. We swap things back and forth only this time she sent me a xyron machine.  That is it above with a card I made for her.  She loves hers and I have never used one before so now I am not sticking itty bitty tapes peices onto my tiny spots. I just run the paper through the xyron machine and out is comes already glued. How cool!
Everyone needs a Partner in Crafts and I am lucky enough to have my Aunt and Sister-in-law to enable me.

I hope you all have a beautiful Easter Holiday and may God's peace and grace be with you all this weekend.

Tilda carrying a Potted Flower

If you didn't already know, I am a paper addict and you thought I was just a Magnolia addict. LOL I found this tablet of journaling pads from Iron Orchid Designs, Creative Imaginations," Loolah" at Archievers and decided to make a card around the journaling pad.  You may notice the left side of the inside card sticks out  and has the same image on it as the front, you get 2 of the same pads in this tablet and I thought it made a great place to write on the inside as well as being pretty.

This is Papertrey Ink tag dies and their matching stamp set I used for the message for my Mother's Day card.  The butterflies are made from the embosslit die from Stampin Up. I added some peals also.

You can see the edges of the inside of the card better here as well as what it looks like when it is opened.

I hope I gave you some ideas to try or else another thing you just have to purchase. It feels so good to create.

Have a wonderful day.

Distressing with Distressed Inks

I had to lock my craft room door to keep everyone out Sunday so I can relieve my creative
side of me.  I painted with Distress Inks for quite a long time and then made two cards.

I used a mini pad of DP from Prima 'Sparkling Spring' collection. The tag, doily, and hearts are dies from Papertrey Ink. I used Papertrey Inks Tag its #2 stamp set for the sentiments.  My flowers are from Prima
and Stickles added a little glitz.  The wrinkled ribbon is hand dyed and added to the pretty pink flower. I added a little stamped swirl of Tea Die distressed ink around the edges of Tilda.
Distressed Inks:  HAIR- Vintage photo and Antique Linen.  DRESS- Tattered Rose and Milled Lavender
LAMB AND SHOES- Black Soot.  SKIN- Tea Dye and Worn Lipstick

Wish you all a cheery and fun day.

Mothers Day with Tilda with the Big Bow

I loved this paper and I wanted to use the tiny tags and doily dies from Papertrey Ink so I decided on a Mothers Day card.  I stamped the tags and used them all over the card to relay the message.  I used a doily die to create the accordian popup doily flower.  It showcases the other flowers and the Mom sentiment tag. Just something a little different I thought I would try.  These dies are very versatile.  All the stamps and dies are from Papertrey Ink and are their new releases from February and April 2011.

The front of the doily die above and the back, below
The inside of the card has a row of tiny tags saying I Love U.

PaperTrey Ink Cuties

I made 3 cards with Papertrey Inks "LOVE LIVES HERE" stamp set and dies to match.

I used PaperTrey Ink stamp sets Love Lives Here and Postmarks with their dies to match each stamp set. Also they have a doily die Parisian that I used to create the doilies in the back of the tag on each card. The only thing that is not Papertrey Ink is the flower circle I used for the inside of each card, it is Spellbinders. Also I used Magnolia's lace border on the inside which matches the doily on the outside of the card. One smaller tag is from Just Rite. My ink and general papers are from Stampin Up. I used scraps for the doilies.

I love the Tiny Tags stamps and dies as well as the other doily dies from Papertrey Ink, when they arrive in my mailbox this week I will make more and then add my Maggies to them. OOOHHH cute and fun.

Have a great day.
