Magnolia Easter Card

Hello my friends!  I have news, some of you already know if you follow me on Facebook, I am moving to South Dakota in the beautiful Black Hills area in May!!
This was a long and big decision for our family and it will take a lot of effort and time to make this happen.  Basically what I am saying is you will see scheduled posts for my DT for the next month or so AND I plan on selling some of my craft supplies, yes I am but I am not quitting my crafting.  Our homes that we have in mind all have crafting space for me! Yippee!!
Stay tuned for my SALE posts

Here is a card I made a while ago while I was patiently waiting for new of the sale of our home.

My papers are from Maja Vintage Spring and it just took 1 12x12 page to make the card.  My frame around Tilda and her Bunny is from Joy crafts.

For my tag I used a Magnolia doohickey wrapped heart and a Magnolia doohickey butterfly.  I added a chit chat sticker from Tim Holtz and a heart from Live Love Crafts.

Here are some florals I purchased from Live Love Crafts and Magnolia doohickey dies, butterfly and sprawling spruce.

I colored Tilda in Copics.

This is a chipboard Easter Egg from Southern Ridge Trading Company, first I frantaged it and then went over the top with some white paint to  add more dimension.

Here is the sentiment on the inside of the easel card

Thank you for stopping by and I do appreciate your comments.  If I get a chance to stop by your blog I will, so forgive me if I cannot.  I will add posts for my craft supplies and also update on Facebook whenever possible.  Thank you for your understanding and I will be back!
Happy Crafting!!

Waterlily Tilda by Magnolia

Hello everyone,  I hope you are having a gorgeous Spring day or week!!  I am patiently waiting for ours! lol

Today I made a Magnolia card using Waterlily Tilda because I am thinking positive, Summer is almost here!?? lol  Really, I made it for my DT at 7 Kids College Fund as we have a new challenge that begins today.  I hope you get a chance to join us but please use a item available at the store.  I linked the store so you can look at see what they have.

I used a Go Kreate die for my card base and the lovely Maja design papers.  I framed Waterlily Tilda with a die cut from Marianne Craftables Passe Partout Oval die.

A piece of white lace and some florals to adorn her is a must for any Magnolia image. lol

I colored her in Distressed Inks

I used this pretty sentiment from Lili of the Valley and colored it in Distressed Inks as well.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and also join our new challenge at 7 Kids Challenge Blog to win the $20.00 gift certificate to the 7 Kids College Fund Store.

Have a beautiful day!

TuTu Sweet by Mo Manning

Happy Saturday to you all!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far!
Today I made a card with the adorable acrylic stamp set from Penny Black, TuTu Sweet by Mo Manning.  I had to use the bear, just fell in love with it.  I used my distressed inks to color her and put her on Pion paper, everything looks great with Pion! lol

The sweet bear is mounted on a Spellbinders Gold Majesty circle I cut from the Pion paper in blue. I also cut the Magnolia doohickey dies, feathers and sprawling spruce.  I added the Pion butterflies and little tags to match.

She is colored in Distressed Inks ad then I used a word stamp from Magnolia to add the scrolls to the background.

Above I used the Little Darlings word set "Use your Words" and spelled out Tutu Sweet as that is the words that are included with the stamp set, no need to change it.
Below you can see a bit of the ballet slippers, they are also part of the stamp set.  I used a rose ribbon across the bottom and then a floral from Magnolia, 3 Kort and Godt rolled roses and then the Magnolia Doohickey die cuts.

Currently 7 Kids College Fund has a challenge up ANYTHING GOES!  The prize is a awesome gift certificate to the 7 Kids College Fund Store.  Hope to see you there!!

Thank you for leaving me sweet comments and I wish you a crafty weekend,
Kelly

Western Chipboard Tags

Hello everyone!!
I have been working with the most awesome chipboard at The Southern Ridge Trading Company.  I want to share with you some tags I made, they are fun and cute!!  The chipboard tags are located here in the store.  The Window Chipboard is found here in the store.

I glued paper and TH tags to the chipboard and then distressed them with Vintage Photo.  The steer skull is Frantaged in Shabby white and Vintage blue.  I added a metal cross piece from a necklace my daughter had and a 3 from Prima.

Here is the backside of the above tag using TH chit chat words on top of a paper tag and cheesecloth.

This tag is left natural and I edged it with Distressed Inks Vintage Photo.  Then I glued on a very old piece of crocheted lace and then the chipboard window and heart to the top.  The wagon wheels are Frantaged in Bronze.

Below is the backside of the tag with a paper tag and TH chit chat words on it.  I did the twine to reflect barb wire.

Here is a sweet baby boy tag for a gift. I used paper and Magnolia Doohickey die Angel wings with a Prima light bulb.  The horseshoes are Frantaged in Copper.

Below it the backside of the tag with the TH chit chat words.  I mixed the Copper and Vintage blue Frantage for the horseshoes.

The Southern Ridge Trading Company has a blog for you to see what the design team is making with the different chipboard.  I hope you check it out here.  Also there is a Facebook page where you can share your creations here.  I hope you stop by the Southern Ridge Trading Company Store and purchase some of Karen's chipboard, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you for stopping by today, have a great week!

Those Who Give

Hello and welcome to my blog!
Today a new challenge begins at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog, ANYTHING GOES but our design team decided on doing Die Cuts!  Here is the card I made using die cuts available at the 7 Kids College Fund Store.

I started with 1 piece of Maja Design's Sofiero collection luscious papers and  Gold Majesty Circles from Spellbinders.  Then I just added a few more dies and I was done!

The flowers below were made with Rolled Rose die from LaLa Land and Flower and Leaves Creatable die by Marianne.  I put pearls in the middle of the rolled roses.
The two pink scrolls on the side of the circle is a die from LaLa Land called Decorative Corners die and it so versatile.  I used it here and then made a butterfly with it shown on the bow.

Here is the Decorative Corner Die from LaLa Land I made into a butterfly then placed it on top of a tulle bow.

Dimension, I just love the papers!

I sure hope you get a chance to go visit my other teammates at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog and see their awesome cards.  Also, if you enter our challenge you could win the gift certificate to the 7 Kids College Fund Store!!  There are so many pre-orders coming in and new items that were never carried there before so I hope you check it all out.

Simply Gorjuss by Docrafts

Relaxing this morning!  I am picking up my son from the airport, poor guy had to leave warm sunny Florida to visit us this week.  I will have to warm him up with lots of hugs, I do not think he will like it though, you know those adult guys! lol

I have a new card I want to share today made with a Gorjuss Girl from Docrafts.

I colored her in Copics and distressed the paper and her background with Gathered Twig Distressed Inks.  I also put Aged Ivory Frantage on the background and my chipboard above her.

I cut a Southern Ridge Trading Company chipboard FLW 007 in half and mounted it on top of the image papers after I Frantaged it in Aged Ivory.  My butterflies are from SU.

I used canvas ribbon and made my banner and then stamped sentiments from Papertrey Ink on them.  A little resin flower from Prima and a Magnolia doohickey butterfly adorns this side.

I used 7 Dots designer paper in Dreamer.  You can see it better inside of the card.

Currently at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog we have a ANYTHING GOES challenge and the prize is a gift certificate to 7 Kids College Fund Store!!  Be sure to USE a item or more AVAILABLE at the 7 Kids College Fund Store to QUALIFY for the GIFT CERTIFICATE!

Romantic Canvas for Southern Ridge Trading Company

I have a great project for you that I made with Southern Ridge Trading Company chipboard!  I never thought I would love chipboard so much but after starting my new design team position with Karen Beaupre from Southern Ridge Trading Company, things have changed, a new addiction was born.  I love the versatility and sizes of her chipboard as well as how intricate it is. You need to just try some and you will see how awesome they fit into your work!

I made a romantic canvas with 4 pieces of Southern Ridge Trading Companies chipboard.

This is a oval canvas and part of a kit I used from Flying Unicorn Store.  One piece of chipboard is hidden under the Love Letter paper on the top right.  It is a nice shape and then I adhered the Butterfly Flourish INS 255 to the cheesecloth and shaped chipboard.   On Butterfly flourish chipboard I painted it with Gesso and then used my Copic markers to color it. A few edges I Frantaged and then added the pearls.

Below is Flourish FLO 254 and comes in a package of 3. I used Shabby Pink Frantage on it.  My flowers and papers are all part of the Flying Unicorn kit. I loved this saying! So true for me and my husband, just fits!

Here is a bit of metal mixed into the flowers. I used Mod Podge to glue down the papers and it stiffened my tags as well and added textured.  Glossy Accents was used for glueing down the metal, chipboard and flowers, they never fall off it I use Glossy Accents which Karen also carries.

This butterfly came with the Butterfly flourish set INS 255 and I frantaged it in Aged Rose.

Here is a close up of the center of the canvas
