A Very Merry Joyful Christmas

Hello my friends,
I ams still working on making Christmas Gifts and forgot about making cards, lol  I should have started way earlier with my projects, lol  I made a quick card with minimal embellishing.

Tilda is colored in DI my favorite medium and I layered more colors in this one than I usually do.  If I have time to color then I experiment more and learn but otherwise it is just get it done.

Thanks for stopping by and hope no one is stress about getting it all done, make it joyful and let it go.

Joyful Hugs!

Anything Festive at Midweek Magnolias

Christmas is getting closer!  Who has their shopping done? lol Not me!   I have so much to do but also so much fun doing it!  I loved it when the kids were all small and they snuck around trying to guess the presents under the tree. They would shake or peel a bit of paper off the packages trying so hard to be quiet. I saw the newest images below and knew this card had to be made in remembrance of those days before Christmas.

Our new Challenge at Midweek Magnolias is ANYTHING FESTIVE.  Many occasions in our lives are festive and my favorite is Christmas!! The combination of images on my card are my favorites in this Magnolia collection A Lovely Christmas.

I used luscious Pion papers and distressed inks to create my card.

Layers of distressed paper and of course Frontage, cannot live without it.

Some awesome Magnolia Doohickeys to make it more festive.

Some florals and doily. My clip (love)  is new from Prima, they are so cute.

Thank you for visiting me today, I love your visits. Please stop by the other Design Team members blogs and be inspired.  Our Festive Challenge at Midweek Magnolias is a great way to try and win a prize using all those gorgeous Magnolia cards. Hope to see you there.

Have a great day!
Kelly

Magnolia-licious Challenge Fancy Folds

Hello my friends, are you still full after Thanksgiving? I need to diet before Christmas to make room for more! lol
Magnolia-licious Challenge has a new theme FANCY FOLDS.  I am not so good at making cards that require some math and perfect creases so this was a challenge for me.  I chose the diamond double fold card template and I used only 1 12x12 piece of paper to make it.

This is one of my favorite older Magnolia papers with the bowing snowman on it.  It was pretty easy to make this card although the paper was thin so I almost tore it putting the folds together.I probably should have used another card stock but I wanted all the sides to be of this paper.

My image is from the new Magnolia Collection A LOVELY CHRISTMAS and my image is Tilda with Little Snowy, they are colored in DI. I Frontaged it and edged with DI to give it more of a vintage look.  The image is on a pretty see through doily card that I have, hard to see but you can tell towards the top.

Here is my card all folded out, instead of a stamped image,  you could put a message in the middle or a pocket for a tag, so many possibilities.

My embellishments on each side and the ribbon across is actually the paper edge and a snowflake die.   The flowers are on doohickey dies poinsettia and tulle.

A tag, banner and A Joyful Christmas sentiment is also from Magnolia. I gently sprayed this card with Prima Frost ink to give it a dusty snow look.

Here it is a casual open card.  There are variable templates for this card if you google Diamond double fold.

Please join our current challenge here at Magnolia-licious and show us your FANCY FOLDS!
