Sweet Baby Boy

Just a simple baby boy card to add to a Auction basket that I am doing for the end of April.
I used a image from Lili of the Valley

The felt leaves are ancient, I have had them for a long time.  The rolled roses are from Live and Love Crafts.  I used a newer Spellbinders die for my image. You can see the liquid pearls here, it is rare that my camera will do closeups, everything has to be just so and I have no idea when it is. I am a point a shoot girl.

He is colored in Copics

My felt clouds I made from a die and felt from Papertrey Ink. Sewed it together and added button stars

Now I actually love the inside most, the mini Magnolia tags and horse are just so cute and fun to use on the card.

See how fun those mini's are!!

It's My Time Canvas

This canvas is a bit darker and more blended but she sure looks great on tan or green walls.  She matches alot of my home but I am going to sell her as with the others I am making.

My paper is from 7 Dots and Prima Sunset. I used acrylic paint, TH distressed inks, texture and Fabercastell brush pens.  The words are from another 7 Dots line.  I also have a few stamps on it.

I did alot of shading so some of the areas of paper barely show.  I wanted raised things and some texture which I mixed with my acrylic paint and used as mask to dot it on.
Below is a bird from a fiber ribbon and I dabbed on paint with texture mixed in and then adhered the metal bird with glossy accents.

Here is a close up of the flower stamp and a gem, the bottom shows my texture using a mask.  Also you can see the words and how I blended them into the papers.

At the bottom I made grass and lightly drew in flowers.  Her dress is outlined in glittered and her flower is a metal one from Prima Vintage Trinkets.

I used texture and acrylic paint in her hair and highlighted it with another color.  A metal charm and some gems are in it. Above her is a heart from the same fiber ribbon and texture, I inked a wooden heart and put it on top and then blended it into the papers.  The left is the bird cage that I Frantaged and then inked a wooden bird and glued on.  More words.

I had to do alot of shading to blend everything in.

A close up of the wooden bird cage and bird

Closeup of her textured hair and the metal flower

I love creating the girls and making them up as I go.  This one is so different from the rest.

Tilda With Big Tulips

Today I was able to get some book work done and have the afternoon free to listen to my She Art 3 Class by Christy Tomlinson.  My heart is still for my Magnolia stamps but my heart is heavily yearning to create more canvases.  All the while I am listening to this class I am trying to color and create this tag and then I find myself wanting to color like you would on a canvas, I threw away a few images.
Well I did complete my tag

It is sunny here after our 7" snowstorm Tuesday so I felt like using bright spring colors.  My papers are from Graphic 45 Secret Garden.
I have these cute hangers from Melissa Frances so I am hanging my cards on them, this tag looks great with this hanger.  My walls are getting full of wholes.

I colored Tilda With Big Tulips in Copics and Used a Spellbinder die to cut her out.  Instead of glittering her up, I decided to leave her more clean, fresh.

I am entering her into the following challenges:

Sketch Challenge at a Die for a Sketch

Good Morning to you all!!

Today we have a new Sketch for our challenge at

All you do is follow the sketch and use 1 die cut.  So simple and you have the month of March to enter.
Here is my card using our sponsors image from Bugaboo Stamps

Ahh isn't he cute!!  I colored my little bunny in Copics on Cryogen paper.  My DP is from Graphic 45 the new Secret Garden.   Along the left side I used a Spellbinders border die and then a Cheery Lynn die for the flowers.  My eggs on the bottom left is a Magnolia mini stamp.  It fit perfectly on the card as a embellishment. I adorned the scallop chipboard with diamond jewels and added stickles to the bunny and Magnolia eggs.

The inside left is white card stock embossed with Darice Embossing Essentials.  In person this embossing folder is gorgeous.  Another Cheery Lynn flower and brad next to the sentiment from Papertrey Ink.

I am looking forward to you entering our Challenge at A Die For A Sketch this month!
Thank you

Tilda With Mr. Rooster

Finally a Magnolia Card!  I have been dying to use my newest Maggie, Tilda With Mr. Rooster.
I colored her with TH Distressed Inks and matched her with Graphic 45 new paper French Country.  There are plenty of roosters in the paper
.

I made a pull out bookmark that slips down the center behind Tilda.  I used the masking technique with the chicken wire stamp and shaded all around with distressed inks to blend with the papers.

You can see the metal jean embellishment from Prima and a bunch of tags I punched out from the paper.  I used a few feathers to compliment Mr Rooster.

Here is the inside of the card using the same French Country Papers.  I used the tag and sentiment labels for writing a message on.

This is definately "country" as a women on a hobby farm.  I would not be holding a rooster like that, they get a little mean. lol

Sherri Baldy girl

I recently was introduced to Sherri Baldy's digi images through Leah Anne and this is my first card with one of Sherri Baldy's digi girls

I found this adorable bird at Wild Orchid Crafts and put it in the left upper corner.  My DP is Graphic 45 Secret Garden.  I used 2 complimentary pages of this lucious 9x9 paper pad to create this card. The base is blue with flowers and bow and the accent is the secret garden page, so much to look at on these papers.

In the floral arrangement I have a Magnolia mini tag stamp, it is so adorable and I can use it everywhere!  My flowers are from Live and Love crafts and Wild Orchid.  I put on a few whimsies and dotted liquid pearls around her.  Sweet Marylou is her name and she is colored in Copics.

I had to show off the paper on the inside too.

More of the floral area and bird, I tried to use the writing on the paper as part of this card as well as the ribbon and keys.

Alternate side view

I am hooked on them these little sweeties.
