I used Distress Ink on Tilda with hearts. It took me 6 times to get her right. I bought different
watercolor paper and it is hard to work with, kind of like my Copics.
The Paper I used on both of the cards is from Papertrey Ink. I love the pattern varieties in this pack. I purchased it last year so I do not know which one it is. Sorry about that. I also used their coordinating cardstock. Papertrey makes a stamp set to go with the flowers in this paper too.
This pretty little girl is from Lili of the Valley and I colored her with Copics, it was challenging for me.
On the inside of this card it felt from Papertrey Ink which coordinates with all their things. I used nesties for the white inside flower and blue felt flower I used Papertrey die for the heart circle and a sizzix die for the leaf. All the lace on the cards are from Joann fabric and the flowers I put together from odds and ends flowers in a pretty box that I store them in. Overall, It took me all day to do these two cards as my two year old was not going to nap today and then everyone seemed to need extra help with their school work. I am ending my day with my computer, hubby and a glass of red wine. Thanks for stopping by my blog tonight.
Kelly...I think you did a fantastic job on both of the cards. Fab job coloring with the DI and Copics and that paper is awesome. TFS

Wow Kelly! They are both so pretty! You have far more patience than I, but it was worth all the attempts; the final work is beautiful! I have yet to try distress inks... They look hard!
ReplyDeleteKelly, both cards came out beautifully. I love Maggies and Lili of the Valley stamps. Congrats!

ReplyDeleteBoth of the cards are so great. The magnolia has our dutch colors, very nice to see the red bleu and white flowers together.

ReplyDeleteHi Kelly! What a fantastic job on both of your cards....beautiful coloring with those distress inks! I myself found the "Bee" paper hard to work with and unforgiving!
ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful lace and wonderful details on your cards, as well as the papers. great job!
What bright and cheery colors! So much prettier to look at than all the snow we have!

Wow, Kelly, your cards are gorgeous! I cannot decide which one I love most! The color combo is my favorite and I shall make one these days with this very same Tilda :). She looks marvellous colored in distress inks. Don't go back to copics, your coloring is great!
ReplyDeleteGreat paper choice and embellies too!
Always a pleasure to swing by!
Hugs, Iulia
