Midweek Magnolias Challenge #106 Valentine/Romance/Love

We have a new challenge at Midweek Magnolias "Valentine", "Romance" and "Love" which are all my favorites!  Can't get enough of the love!  Our designers created some beautiful cards for the occasion so I hope you get a chance to stop by their blogs and leave them some love.

My Valentine

I usually pile on the papers but I only used one 12x12 Magnolia designer paper for this card. One of my favorite images "Tilda with Heart Arrows" is colored in Copics.

The tag is a Magnolia doohickey "So Wrapped Lovely Heart" die that I frantaged with Shabby White.  I had some chit chat stickers that I made my message with.  "Make my heart happy forever, be my Valentine."

The bottom frame is a chipboard piece that I frantaged with Shabby White. I also have a ribbon going around the rest of my image to form the frame.

Two angles of the card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!  Please join us for our new challenge at Midweek Magnolias Valentine, Romance and Love!!
Have a Happy Day,
Kelly

Magnolia-licious Challenge "Love is in the air"

Hello and Welcome to the Magnolia-licious Challenge "Love is in the Air"

Pinch me I still cannot believe I am a Magnolia-licious DT! lol
For this challenge I made a Top Hat

The images I used are "Tilda with Dot bow" and "Bonny Tilda", both are colored in Copics.

On Tilda's outfit I used a Gelly roll pen and a Micron 01 pen to make the white and black dots.

I found this very pretty tulle and pearl piece at Hobby Lobby and it fit perfectly around the base of the hat. To dress the bottom up more I added a few pearls and flowers.

The top of the hat is covered in lace with a Memory Box heart box die, which I put tulle inside so it would cascade out of the heart box and down the side. I also used WOC, Magnolia and Kort and Godt flowers on top.

I cut our the paper feathers and distressed them a bit and then added it to the feathery taupe feather along with gorgeous sugared Prima flowers.

A better look at the top

Here is the back of the hat with some hearts, pearls and the Doohickey die, large butterfly.

I love those little Magnolia hearts.  On one of the hearts I Frantaged a metal key with Shabby White.

My top hat was destroyed by our playful kitty.  She climbed up to my shelves on the wall and had a lot of fun with this hat, lol thankfully I had this photographed for my DT post.

Midweek Magnolias Challenge #105 Let's See Some New Stash

Welcome to my first post as a Midweek Magnolias Designer!!
I am very honored and excited to be on their team as a designer. Thank you to my friend Karen G. for asking Suzi if I could join their team!  I am truly blessed!!

The first Midweek Magnolias Challenge is Let's See Some New Stash

I just had to use my new doohickey dies from the Doohickey Club #3 Ooh La La, my card is covered in them. lol

Here is a good selection from the club kit.  Can you pick out 7 of the new dies? lol

Tilda and Wiola are colored in Copics and I used Maja papers for the card. In between the Go-Create shapes I added a burlap doily. My flowers are Wild Orchid Craft, Magnolia and Kort and Godt.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and sharing with me my new DT position with Midweek Magnolias.  I hope you enter the challenge for a chance to win the prize.

Have a great day!

Magnolia-licious "W"ednesday

I am so excited and honored to announce that I am one of the new design team members for the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog!!  I have to say I was quite stunned when Diana asked me to join her team, it took days for me to become normal again, lol

From the start I have always enjoyed Magnolia Stamps and wanted to be on this design team.  4 years ago I was so timid and such a newbie so along the way with much inspiration from my friends and watching the professionals, I have learned how to color and make cards and other things.  Crafting with Magnolia images is so relaxing and brings me joy so I hope to inspire you in some way to go for your dreams or goals and enjoy the process.

This is my first post for "W"ednesday Inspiration at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog

I used Casey from Saturated Canary to make a small gift card box.

Also on the box are some of the new doohickey dies from the Doohickey Club #3 Oh La La I really love them

The inside I put a doily and made a decorative sentiment card to dress up the gift card and there is room for some cash as well

For a chance to win the weekly “Leave a Comment” Surprise Package all you have to do is:

1. Leave a comment on any of the posts on the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.
2. Leave a comment on any of the DT’s blog post for that week.
3. The more posts you comment on the better your chances to win.
4. Like us on Facebook.

I have won a Surprise Package from Diana and it is very nice.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, have a great day!

Thank you ALL for participating and I wish you all could have won today but I know I will have more Candy offerings in the future!!  See you all on the 14th!

I thought you may want to see my DT calendar that I made myself.

The beautiful Pion papers make this very soft and elegant. My poinsettia's are a die from Sue Wilson. The ornament is a die from Memory Box.  I am using clothes pins to hang each month of my new duties so I do not forget. lol

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year with countless blessings and happiness!
