Things With Wings****Magnolia-licious Challenge

Happy Day to you all!  I hope you are having a great summer so far.  We have had a record amount of rain and mosquitos here in Rapid City.  I saw maybe 1 mosquito last year and now they are eating me alive! lol

Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog current challenge is Things with Wings and of course I always think butterflies because I love them so much.  On my card I used Lazy Tilda from the new Sakura Collection.  I love the summery images from this collection and their sweet faces. There is even a cart of flower that have hearts on them. So Cute!

I colored my images in Distressed Inks and used Lemon Craft Yummy Papers.

My friend gave me the Christmas Doohickey Club die set so I am enjoying it with the basket die. I used Paper Trey Ink die for the flowers.

The cute mini tags are also from the Christmas Doohickey Club set. I also used the Butterfly Kit images to make additional butterflies.  I washed some Distressed Inks on them and a bit of Frontage.

I hope you join our CHALLENGE !!
Good Luck Ladies!!

You Brighten Up My Day "W"ednesday at Magnolia-licious

We have sheetrock in the house! One more step to go and then we paint and put in the flooring all the good stuff.  So excited to see this progress into the decorating stage.

For our "W"ednesday Challenge at Magnolia-lcious Challenge Blog I used a Crafter's Companion Stamp called Brighten My Day

I love this sweet bunny and daffodil. I colored them with distressed inks.

There are numerous sentiments on the stamp set available here at the store.  I used You Brighten up my day and attached it to the so wrapped heart and butterfly doohickey's available at Magnolia-licious.

I have a Doohickey fence and dragon fly with a button from Etsy.

Here is the finished card on Prima paper.

Don't forget to join our challenge and make comments on everyone's blogs to win the surprise package.  More details are on the blog.

Thank you for Brightening up my day today!

Prima Butterfly box

Welcome to my blog today!

I ordered the complete set of the Prima Butterfly Collection by Jodie Lee and I just fell in love with it.  I have so many plans for this set.

I paired Prima with G45 box and tags set.  This is the front and side of the box. Most of the flowers and all the chipboard and papers are from Prima's Butterfly Collection.

Here is the top and sides of it.  The crystals are Prima's Say it in Crystals. They are iridescent and I love how they go everywhere even though the are circles. I just cut them apart.

G45 box came with 3 tags and since I have minimal supplies for mixed media, I blended white paint with my distressed inks and swirled them with my fingers to make the background colors.  I frontage around the edges too.

Above are the fronts and the bottom are the backs.

The tags came with a jump ring and after attaching them together, well they were a bit bigger than the box but I could close the cover, whew! lol

Thank you  for stopping by today, Hope you enjoyed my little box and are inspired to try one too.

Midweek Magnoilas #116 Anything Goes

It is ANYTHING GOES at Midweek Magnolias Challenge Blog and the Design Team made fabulous projects for you to enjoy.

I have to say that my newest favorite collection is this one World Wide Web Collection as we are all into the social media and any card is appropriate for any age with the cute icons.

I distressed ink my image and the computer icons and adorned the card with them.  I have been trying to purchase my die collection back a little at a time. I love the dies as they fill in and add character to my cards.

Some florals I purchased from Live Love Crafts, warning this store is addictive.

More icons adorn the corners

Isn't @ Tilda adorable, she can be ordered at the Magnolia-licious Store.

I found this adorable Memory Box die Love Connection Die.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I am on Facebook, Pinterest but twitter and instagram is a bit boring for me so I don't use them as often.  What is your social media preference?? I am curious and it is fun to share.
Have a great week,
Hugs Kelly

Magnolia-licious Sun Sea and Sand Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.
This week at Magnolia-licious Challenge Sun Sea and Sand our Design Team has some fun inspiration for you to enjoy.

Wedding on the Beach

I masked together Wedding Tilda and Romantic Sunset background, both of which are out of stock at the moment. Just ask Diana to order them for you, she will gladly help.  Both images are colored in Distressed Inks.

I used La La Lands Lattice Border Die to adorn the edges and then Memory Box Whimsical flourish die for the flowers to follow with.

Fun florals to frame the bride in.

If you leave a comment on the Challenge Blog and the DT ladies blogs you have another chance to win a "surprise package" from Diana.
I hope you join us at Magnolia-licious Challenge Sun Sand and Sea.

Here are updated photo from the progress of our home.  My son is taking a break while the other teen and his father carry in huge sheets of sheetrock.  Hoping the hanger shows up this week!

They seem to be hesitant on hauling this all into the house. lol

Thank you for visiting me today, have a great week!!

Magnolia-licious Challenge Pretty In Pink

Making cards for the challenges has been a challenge with the construction of our home.  I really want to craft so I try hard to get some done and this one is very last minute.  We are moving quickly with our home as the insulation, sheetrock and taping, windows and electric, heating and cooling will all be done within 3 weeks.  I have to pick out all the flooring and wall colors now, oh I love all this decorating! I will share photographs as it progresses.

My image is from the new Sakura collection Tilda Picking Carrots and I colored her with Distressed re-inkers.

While you enter your card into the challenge, you could leave a comment on the challenge blog and all of the DT blogs to win a "Surprise" package from Diana.

I hope you enter our Magnolia-licious Challenge PRETTY IN PINK so you can win and also comment to win more!

Here are a few photos of the house. We have the can lights in and the wiring done. It is hard to see the layout at this point but to me just to have this done is exciting.

My husband and two sons are doing all the work, I am so grateful for my talented men.
Have a great day
