Midweek Magnolias Challenge #108 Lets Get Sentimental

Hello my friends, so happy you came over to visit my blog today!

We have a new challenge at Midweek Magnolia's #108 "Let's Get Sentimental".  The perfect Magnolia image for this challenge is from the Lovely Duos set "Stop In The Name Of Love. She comes with her own sentiment.

Tilda is colored in Copics.

I used the yummy Lemoncraft papers Forget Me Not for my card, just adore these papers.

Along the side are 2 Prima doily dies and some florals.

I Frantaged a chipboard heart in Shabby Blue and white just on the edges. Then I put the sentiment on to a banner made from Lemoncraft papers.

I used the Magnolia Castle die and crystal stems with my embellishing for this side.

Please join us for our new challenge #108 Let's Get Sentimental at Midweek Magnolia's!!

Thank you for your prayers for our family. We are searching for a place to rent until we get the house rebuilt. Everyone is fine and we are still in a hotel with the most kind and respectful staff.
Have a lovely day and may God Bless you

Magnolia-licious Challenge Hearts and Flowers

Welcome to my blog today!
I would like to share my card for the Magnolia-licious Challenge "Hearts and Flowers" with you.

I used Coconuts Tilda from the new collection Lovely Duo, you can find her at the Magnolia-licious Store.

I fell in love with some new papers from LemonCraft at a store called Stay True To God.
They are so beautiful and she has a lot more so I hope you check out her store.

The sentiment that goes with Coconuts Tilda is framed in a heart, "You Drive Me Coco-nuts". Very cute sentiment.  You will notice at the top is a fluffy pink flower, they are new from Magnolia and go with the new Lovely Due Collection and can be found at the Magnolia-licious Store also. Just click Lovely Due Collection and follow to the right until the matching flowers appears and click.

Here are more of the gorgeous Magnolia flowers along the side of my card.

Here is the inside, I just used one piece of Lemoncraft paper and look how pretty it is with now effort.

Dear Blogging Friends

If you are on Facebook you already know what happened to our family.  I just wanted to inform my friends and family who do not have a Facebook that I will not be posting for a long while.
I have about 3 scheduled posts for my design teams which I am going to miss dearly.

We had a fire in our home in South Dakota 2 nights ago and it is unlivable.  We are all safe and so are the pets.  This is quite a tragedy for us and we are living moment by moment.
Prayers are awesome!

If you would like to see photo's please visit my FB page here.
My 15 year old son is amazing, he kept his composure while I fell apart, he turned off the gas to the house, took photographs and stayed in the freezing cold air until the firefighters were gone. I am so proud and grateful for Noah!

I have a few scheduled cards to share and I am not sure if my craft room has anything salvageable yet. It will be a long summer coming before I can craft again.  I will try to peak at your blogs when I can. Thank you for all your support.
Hugs Kelly

Mid Week Magnolias Challenge Pretty In Pink

Hello everyone!!!
Today is a new challenge at Midweek Magnolia's #107 Pretty In Pink! I love pink and making girly cards so this one was fun for me.

I used Magnolia's "Tilda Hiding Heart" image and colored her in Copics. My card is a shape from Go-Create although you cannot see much of it due to all my layering.

I used some dies from the newest Doohickey Club #3 "Oh La La".  I just recently saw this set is still available at Magnolia-liciious Store to Pre-Order if you are interested.

The key doohickey from Club#3 is on top of the brides bow doohickey.  Below I used the heart doohickey from Club#3 to behind the 2 heart images from Magnolia.

Here is the fence from the #3 Doohickey club with a pretty sparkly heart and heart ribbon.

I love to finish the insides and since I used this beautiful paper from Magnolia I just wanted to show you how pretty it is inside.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  Please check out my other DT friends and see the inspiring creations they made.  I hope you join us at Midweek Magnolia's Challenge #107 PRETTY IN PINK and good luck!!
Have a awesome day!

New Craft Room

I know I just had a new purple craft room for only 9 months and now it is tan and a lot smaller.  How did that happen!

We have a son with some health issues so under Doctors advice we tore all the old carpet out, repainted, fixed some issues and then moved him to a bigger more airy room and me to his former bedroom.  He still has hives, been 6 weeks but we are getting some answers to help him, his immunity is a wreck and I am hoping we have more defined answers next week when we get to see his test results.

I had another chance to get the craft room organized more efficiently but also keeping it pretty and comfortable to work in.  After 4 times I think I may have it right. lol

What a mess, this is only a portion of my craft room in the living room while we redid the bedroom half of the house.

Here it is, 12x12 foot room with a tiny closet. I love it and my furniture actually fit!

This is the desk I chalk painted and I love the storage it has on both sides.

I have a new light, it hangs low to the desk and I can turn the lights to any area in the room. Great for coloring and it warms me up when I am cold.

So you have seen all four walls in my room, I have about 2/12 foot to walk around my middle desk to each section.  I tried to organize for how I work and by theme.

On the tops of each tower, (3) I have all my gifts from my blogger friends, I love them and thank you all for your generosity.

So here is a closer look at how I store my stuff

Pretty boxes from Micheals and labels for large stamps, punches and papers.  The plastic suit case type boxes on the bottom left are great for my Spellbinders, round, oval, rectangle and Go-create dies.  The boxes are from Micheals too, big sale one day 50% off storage, I had fun!

These are the big drawers from my Chalk painted chest. I have a small drawer for Vegabond accessories, Tim Holtz Sizzix dies, ribbons, paint and sprays.  The lower right photo is the tiny closet I have for more not so pretty storage.  See the pretty box on the top with flowers in it, well it sits on my middle desk so I can enjoy their beauty. Actually now I use it because I see it.

Here are metals and canvas type things in a bottom drawer. I used the smaller Prima boxes to put on top of a shadow box I had so I have more storage but can move them around.  A lot of the storage boxes here are flowers, wow I had no idea how many flowers I had until I organized them by size and vendor. Crazy!

This is my color shelf with Copics and Distressed Inks. I also have my Magnolia stamps in binders on  plastic sheets so I can see them better. I have misc stamps in the wire baskets on the bottom left photo.  In the bigger plastic totes on the 2 bottom right photos are my dies, yep a lot of dies, how do I accumulate all this! So each wide box has individual bins so I can easily find them. I have them labeled for corners, swirls, doily, by vendor, ect. One is just for Magnolia Doohickeys.  They are also from Micheals. My friend is using these boxes for her Magnolia collection.

Well I am blessed with generous friends and husband whom I am grateful for all I have. I hope to have given you some ideas for storage and it doesn't have to look ugly. lol
Have a great day and thank you for the comments you leave for me

Magnolia-licious Challenge "Winter Fun With Doohickey Dies"

Hello my friends and new visitors, welcome to my blog!
I have a new card to share with you for our new challenge at

Magnolia-licious, "Winter Fun with Doohickey Dies" .

I used "Pixie Tilda" climbing the snowball and "Tilda with Lovikka Mittens" who is waiting above for Pixie Tilda to get to the top.  I made my snow ball using the doohickey die Lace Coaster and one coaster is behind Tilda with Lovikka mittens.

The girls are colored in Copics and are mounted with dimensional glue dots.

Here are some dies all from Magnolia, my papers are from Maja Design.

Here is another view, there is a lot of dimension on this card.
