Lili of the Valley Wedding Couple

I love this paper from Little Yellow Bicycle TWIG as it is so romantic.
at the bottom of the card I used Papertrey Inks new die for lace edges.
My flowers are from Magnolia and Prima, the lace is from Joann's

I used the stickles are a xmas present from my sister-in-law and I
outlined the Wedding Couple with silver and green.

                        Relax and Enjoy the evening.

Spring Challenge

I am in love with the new My Minds Eye Papers that our craft store just got in. I even had the matching crystals and papertrey ribbon that matched it.  I used the Stampin up embosslits Beautiful Wings for the butterflies, as in spring you can never have too many.

I had a hard time coloring Tilda for some reason but finally after hours of practice I did OK. I also masked the images together for the first time.

Copic BG10, 15 and Promarker pastel green for the  dress and the shoes are Copic W1, 3.  The butterflies and flowers are Y11, 21, G82 and YR07, 65, R08.

I am entering the card into the SPRING Challenge over at www.magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com

Thank you for looking today.

Tilda Holding a Rabbit

I am using this card for the www.magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com Challenge Pink, Brown or Baby card.  I thought Tilda with this sweet stuffed bunny was close to "baby" as I have for magnolia.

I used Distressed Inks spun sugar, walnut and vintage photo and Pebbles DP with the coordinating felt flower.I punched out some hearts and used ribbons I already had for embellishments.  Things are stacked here to give more of a texture on the card, like the nesties with Tilda.

Thank you for stopping bye and A BIG THANK YOU to all of you who helped me with my 'blog candy' dellema.  I am very impressed at how well you girls explain things, I will work on my blog later. Thanks.

First Twisted Easel Card

Pearls line the outer edge of a butterfly on the bottom of the card, I used my cricut to make all the images on the easel card. My flowers are from Magnolia and Prima.  I put flowers in Tilda's egg basket in order to use it for a birthday instead of a Easter Card.

This is my first copic image that is quite nice and blended correctly
                                                     Practice makes perfect

I have a butterfly inside the fold too from my cricut. The flowers hold the card in place.

Mini Cupcake for Grandmothers

I was soooo excited when I found the above sentiment at our local craft store. It is from Verses Rubber Stamps FM0280-D. Then I remembered the Love Muffin from Magnolia oh what a great combination.

I ordered my mini Love Muffin from Magnolia-icious and when I recieved it I made 2 pages of muffins to cut out as I need them. Only problem is to match the paper to the images I colored.I looked all over my room and no cupcakes on my papers!  Oh well, off to the store again to buy more paper, hehe.
My paper is from Doodlebug Designs and I used Copics B02, B05, RV02, RV04, E31, E33, and E37. Unfortuately I couldn't figure out which green and orange I used on the others. Sorry.

Thanks for stopping by I know it has been a while. Enjoy your day.

Sympathy Card for a Man

My husband requested I make a sympathy card for him to give to someone he knows, that man just lost his father.  My husband thought it would take me 5 minutes to make a card!! Right!  He kept bugging me and asking me "are you done yet?" just like a little kid. It took me almost an hour because of his distractions, sitting by my side and whining. I just laugh at him as he is not interested in my cards, but encourages me to make them.
This is the first time my husband watched over me and kept me company while I made a card. Funny.

Romantic Tilda Valentine #3

The decorative gems and upper flower are from Prima Marketing. The lower right flower is from Magnolia
I didn"t have to put much into the inside as the paper says it all. From Making Memories Je t'adore.
I used Distressed Inks, Victorian Velvet, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, and Black soot. My watercolor paper is giving me trouble so I need to back and get the one I had previously.

This Card is my favorite, my style and colors. BUT my son thought differently HE CHOOSE

Funny because I was thinking of her style and what she would like as well as him when I made this card. We are putting those message candies with it and another item he has for her. So Sweet and fun for both of us.

Your Tagged Tilda Valentine #2

I used my Copics on Papertrey Ink paper again and my tone is a little brighter so I figured cute, whimsy, playful like his girl. I made two tags to pull out on this card. One is from the top and the other pulls out on the left side. I wrote sayings from those little candies you get this time of year. Tradition for us to gobble them up.

Here are the two tags I made with Spellbinders heart nesties and a doilie. I used a heart rivet to keep the hole big enough for the ribbons to go into. The paper is from Fancy Pants Designs. I used a stampin up punch to make other hearts and some embellishments from our local craft store. We will see if this is the style he wants,

My last card I will be coloring with Distressed Inks and my son said do it "over the top."

Tilda With Hearts #1 Valentine

My son is challenging me to make a valentine for his girl.  He wants a few to pick from. This is number 1 and I have 2 more in my head to go.  I will tell you which one he chooses after they are all up.
I colored Tilda with Copics but I used a cream cardstock from Papertrey Ink and it changed the way the Copics blended, I think it improved me. Maybe. I used Bo Bunny papers and Spellbinders hearts.
Unfortunately I like the inside of the card better than the outside, but it is up to Ben to choose.
        See you again soon.

Same Paper, two Cards

I used Distress Ink on Tilda with hearts.  It took me 6 times to get her right. I bought different
watercolor paper and it is hard to work with, kind of like my Copics.

The Paper I used on both of the cards is from Papertrey Ink. I love the pattern varieties in this pack. I purchased it last year so I do not know which one it is. Sorry about that. I also used their coordinating cardstock.  Papertrey makes a stamp set to go with the flowers in this paper too.
This pretty little girl is from Lili of the Valley and I colored her with Copics, it was challenging for me.

On the inside of this card it felt from Papertrey Ink which coordinates with all their things. I used nesties for the white inside flower and blue felt flower I used Papertrey die for the heart circle and a sizzix die for the leaf. All the lace on the cards are from Joann fabric and the flowers I put together from odds and ends flowers in a pretty box that I store them in.  Overall, It took me all day to do these two cards as my two year old was not going to nap today and then everyone seemed to need extra help with their school work. I am ending my day with my computer, hubby and a glass of red wine.   Thanks for stopping by my blog tonight.

In Honour of the Purity Ball

My daughter and her father are going to a Purity Ball tonight. It is put on by our Catholic Diocese to help bond daughters and fathers together so the girls save themselves for marraige.  I am very excited for my daughter as she has pledged to us as well as her boyfriend that they will stay pure.  For the last year and a few months they have done that. As parents in this world, we are proud. Besides the card I made for her, I am including a picture of her and my husband.

Yeah, I know he looks goofy, he doesn't like picture taking.
