I adore the new collection from Magnolia Boho Collection as they are so carefree and dressed perfectly for the boho look. I love to dress that way too but at my age I look a bit silly. lol This set is very fun as they are unlimited in ideas.
Our new challenge at Magnolia-licious is "USE KRAFT PAPER" on your creation. I love Kraft paper for its neutral and goes great with Boho!
This photo I took from my phone, sometimes I think it doesn't distort the colors like the camera and it is a richer picture. Just had to throw it on for a contrast.
Hippe Tilda is so darling with her macrame bag, remember those! Remember the macrame hanging plant holders we all made, haha
I also bordered her with the Bohemian Lace and Love stamp and then embossed it with Frontage, Marine and distressed the outside also.
I purchased a few crocheted flowers from Etsy and this one worked perfectly with the theme. I also stamped and embossed the envelopes with the Lace stamp
Boho embellishing above and below is the card using my camera. Sometimes I think the little details disappear when I use the camera?
I sure hope you join us at Magnolia-licious challenge Use Kraft so you can get a chance to win the prize from Diana.
Don't for get to check out the other designers, they have gorgeous creations to show you and leave a comment for another chance to win!
Have a great day!
Hugs Kelly

Ooh yes I remember my hippy phase... the patchouli oil... the sheepskin coat... macrame bags… and used to love those long white cotton embroidered shirts… remember those!! ah.. what wonderful memories! thanks for the trip down memory lane! :-D

Hi Kelly! Your card is Amazing!!! Love your colouring and all the embellishments you used :)
ReplyDeleteBwahahaha...macrame...oh yes, I remember. We had it hanging all over our house holding plants. Crazy the good memories that look brings back; practically every school picture of me up through middle school...LOL. Your card is GORGEOUS and I love the mix of sharp crisp colors together. That pop of red crochet flower is sensational too. Gorgeous work my friend.
ReplyDeletehugs to you,

Stunning from beginning to end, a feast for the eyes! hugs Diana
ReplyDeleteHey Fancy Pants! another one of your over the top wonderful makes - how you do this I will never know. I do think you are right - the color looks like it has more depth with you phone - did you take it on a kitchen counter. I like the back drop. I have always loved Kraft Paper especially with colored pencils. The red crochet flower is perfect with the style of this Tilda.
ReplyDeleteWill Miss Kelly -- all you have to do is get a lot older (like me) and you dress as you please and it's called artsy!
I do not know how you put all the stuff together like you do - if I tried to do that it would make you right sick to your stomach. And tell me, what is going on with Miss Tilda - I mean is she expecting? Or has she been into the candy dish one too many times!!
Kelly, your designs are incredible -- did you color this with distress inks again?
You must think my makes are utterly boring!!!!

OH!!! Lovely Kelly, you captured the boho style perfectly! I cannot help laugh as I write my comment, and stop to read Sandy's ... OMG. she expresses so well what I think about those tilda's lately... they all look pregnant! but maybe she is right, they went too many times in the candy dish!!!! I love what you did not the corrugated cardstock, adding white plaint. all the flowers are gorgeous ! everything is absolutely wonderful! hugs.
ReplyDeleteYour card is darling! I love all the colors!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jody
Kelly, this is another stunning creation! Love all your layers and details! (Oddly enough, I never got into macrame, but my husband did for a while, lol!) Your image is so darling and you colored her beautifully! :^)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful weekend!
