Welcome to my blog! So happy you stopped by!!
Happy Birthday
Our sponsor this week is
Because I am on vacation this week, I made my card a month ago for this challenge. I wasn't able to grab a Shape EZ template so I made my own, it is a anchor. This was very easy to do, all I did was copy the anchor design from Maja Design, DP. Immediately I thought of my Magnolia stamps to create the ocean scene.
My papers are from Maja Design and the Magnolia images are colored in Copics on Express it paper. I attached a red ribbon around the bouy and added some charms
My ocean beach scene 'Romantic Sunset' is recessed in and Edwin and Tilda are mounted on the outside onto the bouy area. I added some stickles and white paint for accents.
Edwin in Miami
Tilda Off Shore
At the bottom of my anchor I used a banner for Happy Birthday and the numbers 50 in red.
I hope you enjoyed my nautical themed birthday card!!! As I said I am on vacation in a very sunny oceanside condo!! I know poor me! I love the ocean, we walk it alot, play in the sand, and collect shells. But we do have some work here to do also, darn, can't be all fun! hehe
I wish you all a very nice day!
