Halloween Bezel Canvas

Sleeping in today? While you have your coffee I just want to show you a Halloween idea I had.
It all started with making bezels with resin.  I saw this one part of last years Graphic 45 Halloween paper that fit my friend Sandy to the T!  Sandy loves Halloween and I made her this bezel.

Then my other friend Lisa sent me a photo of a reverse canvas, Lisa my enabler.  Immediately I put the bezel and canvas in my head and then hunted down my Halloween stash!  Sandy is recovering from a hip injury and I wanted to make her smile.

Here is the completed project

I used numerous Halloween products from last year.  I mod podge 4 papers along the side.  I glued the edges of the music papers and then rolled them outwards. The edges are blackened with ink and then stickled in orange.

The inside is painted with charcoal black paint.  Then I daubed metallic silver Distressed Paint where the windows are.  The rest of it is sprayed with Tattered Angels snow queen mist.  The house is a Tim Holtz die called Rickety house.

In the corner is green mesh,  gauze and a chipboard witch that I glued down with glossy accents. You can see the rolled paper edged with glitter glue.

The bottom I stamped with Versa Mark and then Frantaged over it with white

I hung the bezel from a Tim Holtz Ideology hook and ribbon so it has movement.

I hoped you like my reverse canvas idea and give one a try. It was easy to make and highlights the bezel perfectly. I have tutorial coming up on making bezels shortly if you are interested in making your own.

Have a great weekend
