Tilda with her balloon in Blue

I finally did it, I have been practicing watercoloring with very little color to make it light or barely there.  I am very heavy handed when I color so this was a task.  Tilda is colored in Distress Ink Stormy Sky and Black Soot.

The Designer Paper is from Fancy Pants Designs called "Spirited" Happy Together. I used both sides and added bazzil basics pale green and Stampinups Sahara Sand to layer with.
I used a variety of Butterflies from Paper Trey Ink, Tim Holtz and Stampinup. The Tiny Tags are from Paper Trey Ink and the flower is from Magnolia.  I embellished with crystals and pearls I already had.  The ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl, her blinkie is on my side bar.
The sentiment on the Doohickey Die Tag is from LOTV and the one on the front of the card is from out local craft store.  I distressed the edges in Stampin up inks.

Thank you for stopping by, hope you had a wonderful Holiday weekend.

My Magnolia-licious Challenge Entry Purple and Black

The New Challenge at http://magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/new-challenge-just-for-you.html is PURPLE AND black.  I struggled with this card because I had to hunt down purple card stock and designer paper.  I LOVE paper so you know I HAVE to add the DP.  I found one little purple piece from a 6x6 tablet from Little Yellow Bicycle.  So this is what I came up with:

I am not a purple person and then to add black, I love black with tan or red but this was a challenge alright.  I am finishing 5 of my childrens scrapbooks this summer so the cards are slow in coming to my blog.  I did use a baby Edwin in one of the pages I made and I will be posting that one next.

Tilda in Her Rubber Boots and Feathers

This Easel Card  is for any occasion.  Little Yellow Bicycle DP in TWIG and the feathers are also from the set.  I used Papertrey Ink doily die cuts and Tim Holtz sizzix mini rosette die for the accordian flowers.

The distressed ink colors I used to color Tilda are Broken China and Forest Moss.  Her skin is Tea Dye and Aged Mahogony.  Her hair is Walnut.

My crochet ribbons are from Joann's store and the crystals I already have, in abundance.

Thank you for looking at my card, your comments are fun to read and I appreciate them all.

OOOhh Baby Tilda

She is so cute, I just purchased Baby Tilda and finally inked her up.  She is colored with  Distressed Inks faded jeans and stormy sky.  I have a package of 6x6 decorative edge cardstock for baby boys and girls from Little Yellow Bicycle.  They are so darn cute and easy to use that I feel the papers made the card for me. LOL  I used stuff I already had to embellish it as much as I could without loosing the papers design. I love the dinosaurs, there is another dinosaur piece in the pack that I am anxious to try out.

Blessings to you

My Entry To Magnolia-licious Challenge

At the magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com the challenge this month is Black, White and one other color.  I chose green (peeled Paint) from Tim Holtz's distressed inks.

I water colored Tilda and her balloon in Distressed Inks, Peeled Paint and Black Soot.  Then I added some sparkle with Stickles in Black and Peeled Paint.

My sentiment on the front is from Lili of the Valley and the inside sentiment is from Tim Holtz as well as the butterfly.  The stamped edges on the inside is from Lili of the Valley.
I cannot tell you the DP name as I have had it forever and it didn't have on on it. I used a doily and a doily heart punch from Martha Stewart and some bling to accent the birthday girl.

Have a beautiful Day.

Tilda In Her Rubber Boots Confirmation Card

After traveling by car to North Carolina and back with 2 toddlers and 3 teenagers, I needed some alone time so I distressed by coloring alot of Tilda's with Distressed Inks.

This card is for a special someone who is being confirmed in her Catholic Faith. I used scattered straw and aged mahogony to color Tilda's dress.  Her hair is walnut stain and skin is tea dye with worn lipstick.
My paper is from MME Stella and Rose, Hattie Boy Tapestry Paper.  I used both sides of it.  I used lace from Joannes Fabrics and Prima flower.
There are alot of Spellbinder dies, the circle and scallop circle, Floral Doily motif, Labels 18 and a Sizzix swirly die cut.

My sentiment on the outside is from Lili Of The Valley and the inside is from Verve. I added some pearls I had and used my Xron machine my Aunt gave me on a few areas, Thanks Dee.

I WISH you all a very JOYFUL MOTHER'S DAY.
