Hello and welcome to my blog!! Christmas is fast approaching so excited!
Today is the start of a new challenge at 7 Kids Challenge Blog. The Theme is Anything Goes!
I decided to make a accordion card filled with Christmas spirit, well it took me 5 times to get it right so my spirit was tired by the time I finished this one! lol
My very sweet friend Anne gave me a accordion book and I loved it. Hers is made perfectly though. So I hunted down the Sizzix die and thought this would be easy for me. lol
I would like to share my Christmas accordion album with you.
Here is the front of the accordion using a Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia and Shabby White Frantage. The poinsettia is made with red card stock and a brocade red clear paper from Stampin Up.
The designer papers I used on the accordion and pages are Graphic 45 12 Days of Christmas and Bo Bunny Elf Magic.
Here is the flow of the accordion part. I used each designer paper on each side. Everything is taped securely Sookwang double stick tape.
Here is the middle on one side with a older sentiment stamp embossed with black embossing powder. I cut snowflakes and red stickles for the other side. On each page there are tiny Christmas stickers from Tim Holz and a few Simple Stories tags.
Here is the back side Tim Holz dies, fir tree, deer, 25. I added some ribbon and wooden snowflakes on the page including a snippet of the SU red and clear brocade page for the deers neck.
Here is the other side of the accordion with Bo Bunny Elf Magic papers. I used a smaller poinsettia die and the tags from Simple Story.
At the end of the other side I wanted to join to pages with Star Flourish die from Memory Box on top and then Santa's sleigh from Impression Obsession which was a gift from my friend Christina.
I put a small amount of black stickles on the tops of Santa's sleigh for a night shadow. There is platinum glitter for shine as the moon must be out! Then a red glitter nose for Rudolph who is leading the way.
Here is a dimensional look from above the card.
The whole accordion card is flat and ready for a box to mail.
I hope you found this interesting as I am determined to perfect my abilities with this accordion die from Sizzix. Way too much fun!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you join us for the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog to win the gift certificate to the 7 Kids College Fund Store!!
