Let me show you how to make a bezel
I used Spellbinders Media Mixage bezels and dies you can purchase at our store 7 Kids College Fund. 7 Kids also carries more products to put into your bezels and some new Spellbinder Bezels are coming in shortly, they are awesome. 7 Kids College Fund has the best priced bezel items I have found.
Onto the tutorial, I picked out papers for the bottom layer of my bezel and used the dies to cut them so the paper fits perfectly. The dies are meant to go with the bezels all from Spellbinders and are linked at the bottom of this post.
First step is to glue your papers to the bottom of your bezel, I used Glossy Accents.
After glueing down your paper to the bezel you should coat around the SIDES and TOP of the paper with mod podge.
Do 1 layer at a time and let it dry, about 15 minutes so you have a total of 3 layers. This protects the paper from coming up or discoloring.

After your paper dries you can fill your bezel with whatever you want. I used Glossy Accents to glue down the pieces. If you do not glue them down, they float to the top or get in the way, yes it happened to me, just learning by my mistakes. lol
On this bezel above, I Frantaged the edges right before putting the resin on it.
Here are the bezels I have finished glueing and filling, they are ready for resin. Resin gives you the hard, clear, thick top to preserve your image.
I used Resin from 7 kids and followed the instructions carefully. I used 3/4 of the bottle on these bezels. It is really easy, do not worry just read the directions of the resin you choose, stir it slowly.
I slowly poured the mixed resin into the bezel just to the top edge. If you over flow it, you can peel off the excess in 8 hours. Let the bezels sit at least 24 hours before using your bezel so it is hard.
These are filled with resin and waiting to dry thoroughly. Check them in about 5-10 minutes after filling for tiny air bubbles. You can drag a toothpick ever so lightly across the bubble to the edge where they usually disappear. You will need good lighting as well as good eyes. lol
Here are the finished bezels that you will see in other posts.
Another finished bezel from the canvas I just posted earlier this week.
I love the glitter in the bezels. The heart below was a image I watercolored and it hardened up perfectly without running the watercolor inks.
This bottom one was in my earlier sneak peak. Just twisted copper and beads over paper, simple and ready to use on anything.
I hope you enjoyed the bezels, please try them, they are addicting and fun to add to your cards, canvases or make gifts with them.
Please leave me a comment telling me which one you liked and I will draw a WINNER of one of my
bezels!! I love giving out things to my friends!
Enjoy the blog hop and I hope you are inspired to try this technique, EASY!
Have a great Weekend!!

Wow Kelly, these are so beautiful, I absolutely love the one with the twisted copper in, but they are all gorgeous.
