Hi Everyone, It has been about 3 weeks since we had snow cover and then it froze 3 night ago again. brrr. It has been a very long and snowy winter here in Minnesota and our small farm is waking up to Spring. I Just wanted to share some photos with you.
This our Famous Mall of America Amusement Park
Isaac and I were having lunch here together after I shopped the scrapbook store Archivers. In the winter we get some well know awesome crafty instructors here for a few days.
Here is Isaac, he is so close to age 16 and driving, just a few months left.
Elijah is my youngest and will be 5 years old in a few weeks. He is tall like a year old and very shy. He messed up my bed and is jumping on it. Just waiting for a nice day to come.
Champagne is Isaacs 1 year old Llama that will show in 4H this year.
My daughter and her new horse. We take him on our walks with us and he is so good
One of our roosters, I love his colors and one of my Magnolia cards was colored similar to him
We just received our baby chicks, the brown ones are laying hens and the yellow ones are fryers. We will butcher the fryers in July.
Elijah is holding a chick. On the left is our little space for them with heat lamps in about 2 weeks we will make the space bigger and then eventually they will be outside running around a pen.
Mama Bantam hen with her baby chicks
Our beef in waiting. He will taste so good in about September
Some of our many ducks we have here
Today it was finally warm 88 degrees F. My son and our Pug fell asleep on the floor in the sun and fresh air, yes finally we can go outside and enjoy "Fresh Air"
I think Elijah looks funny the way he held his head while sleeping, the Pug is sunning himself.
We all love summer in our house and we are so happy to go outside and enjoy the fresh sunshine.
Have a wonderful day also!
Kelly
Hi, Kelly...It's so nice of you to share some photos of your family and farm. I love seeing all the animals. Isaac's Llama is adorable. I have a neighbor that has 11 Alpacas and they are so cute and really furry and fat looking until they get sheared. Then they're so skinny. It's funny to see the transition.
ReplyDeleteLove your daughter's horse. It looks like he still has a lot of his winter coat yet. Our Duncan is still shedding his but we've had to use the curry comb on him a lot this spring.
Take care and have a wonderful week.
Hugz,
Cathy Lee

Well you know, I want to book a trip to Sandy's house, but now that I've seen your place, I think I'm just going to have to take a road trip!! I've heard of that Archivers before, but never seen one. I suppose when it's frigid there, at least you have the COOLEST places to hang out!!
